Katharine Cornfield

A trusted advisor to both emerging and established leaders, Katharine Cornfield is owner and President of Change Group Ltd., an independent management consulting and training company working at the intersection of talent, strategy and inclusive leadership.

As founder and creator of ambiSHEous™, a leading-edge training initiative focused on leadership and career advancement for young women, she is growing a network of licensed partners delivering proprietary StartUp Self™ Sessions across Canada. By combining financial, digital, and civic literacy with entrepreneurship, the StartUp Self™ Sessions equip girls and young women with the critical skills and knowledge they need to thrive today and in tomorrow’s economy.

Katharine has spoken at Cannexus, DisruptHR, and the Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers (CACEE) National Conference; and is the host of Beginner Women, a new podcast challenging the way we think about equipping girls and young women for life, work and leadership.

An active community member, Katharine has served in various capacities with the YMCA-YWCA, Junior Achievement, and the Women’s Leadership Foundation. She currently serves as Past President of the Board at Ottawa’s Causeway Work Centre, a non-profit agency providing employment assistance through innovative social enterprises.
